Hi Guys and Gals

I just wanted to introduce myself to the forum. I am 28 and Live in Melbourne Australia. I currently own a 76 vw Kombi and a 56 Daimler conquest (that hasn't been registered since 1967). The daimler is awaiting resto but I am thinking of selling her off and getting something smaller, such as a fiat 500 or leyland mini.

I am a qualified Palaeontologist but work for an environmental consultancy in their petroleum services division.

I have always been in love with VW's but lately have wanted to spread my wings.

Anyway I can't wait to go through this forum and increase my knowlegge and hopefully do some serious posting.

Welcome. I would love to be a Palaeontologist. Well, it seems fascinating at the very least. Can't all dig up dinosaurs though I suppose. Plenty of folks here rescure automotive ones. Your car profile is off centre from what this site is about but hey, hopefully you will be swayed to the side of good!
