T shell and a tall cap?

I just got a T shell thats molded as well as the hole for the old radiator cap....my question is this...should I cut off the fake next on the Radiator for a more sleek low profile look..Or cut a hole in the shell and run the fake neck through the hole http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif

Do what you want, dig it smooth, if you don't like it put on the cap. If you liked it better the first time, get some fiberglass and fill the hole.
