This is my first time here and things look pretty good. I saw a great tech article on how best to weld/shape/form stainless trim and thought this is the place for me. No bs, just how to do it.
I am a fabricator, been heavily involved in drag racing and have turned my interest twards hot rods and traditional drag race cars. I just love those old race cars, they are amazing - probably the only thing scarrier than a shortie front engine dragster is the 'Mercury Capsule' that the first astronauts went up in.
Beside typical shop work i am starting a RatRod based on a '47 Federal, truely an evil looking contraption. I just got the body last week and am gathering up the parts. Haven't figured out the engine yet, want mechanical injection and will probably go with a SBC because of the available vintage injectors. I have a few pics of where we got the body if anybody is interested i'll post them. It'll scare you, i bet.
