Hood ornament question

Well, since my quick perusal of online sites has left me drawing a blank, I'm hoping someone here can help me.

In the latest issue of OSR, there's a hood ornament on the pink Chevy that's featured, and I'm trying to figure out what it originally came off of. Due to it being more-or-less rocket shaped, I naturally figured "Oldsmobile", but I can't find it shown as being from an Olds.

The main reason I'm interested is because I saw the same hood ornament for sale at an "antique mall" a week or so ago for about $25, and I was trying to determine if the price was high, low, or just about right. If it's a decent price, I'll probably run back up to the place and buy it.

Well damn...I've come up empty on finding a pic of that car somewhere online. Maybe one of our fellow HAMBer's would be kind enough to scan the article. Anyone??

OK, I feel like a dumbass now. I just did some more searching on the "Lepoix" site, only to discover that the hood ornament on her Chevy is actually the freakin' factory piece. Guess I'd just never paid enough attention to a '53 or '54 Chevy to be able to identify one.
