I have been given a 3-71 that I would like to put on a flathead. Can anyone tell me if there are still parts available to build it up or anyone servicing them. Thank you in advance for any info you guys may be able to supply.

You can contact Dave Tatom in Mount Vernon, WA and ask who he subcontracted to (he built a 3-71 blown motor for me). Dave also sells a serpentine drive kit that will work.
BDS in LA sells snouts and other parts for all GMC. Navarro still makes a manifold for GMC to flathead, but he's kinda hard to reach. Good luck!

<font color="red"> I have a 371 I want to fit to my 270 GMC six. They are the same size as 471 and 671 except for length. End plates and bearings for the bigger blowers fit these as well.

You've got two guys right in your backyard that do blowers...Dean Blowers/dean671blowers@cs.com and JRC Blowers in Tacoma 253 468 0857 (jrcblowers.com, I think). JRC gets $600.00 for a diesel conversion to gas...Rick @ Dean quoted me $275.00 for parts/labor plus you need a new rear bearing plate ($80.00), snout ($325.00) and of course the drive system. Used stuff shows up on ebay all the time...be careful not to buy stuff that won't work. I'm doing a blown 354 Hemi for my '56 F-100 and I had a local shop do some of the easy machine work on a couple of 6-71 cases...then, I think, Dean will get the rest of my biz. Do research...Good Luck. Rick
