I'll kick things off extra early today as it seems I'll be too busy to get back here before the week end. Hope you don't mind...
This ought to bug a few people and, maybe, entertain others (very close to actual scribble size):
http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m45/jigger_01/lost%20causes/06CobraR-2.jpg
Here's a very crude rough I did back around 2000, much smaller than actual scribble size ( I may have already posted it once...sorry if it's so...)
http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m45/jigger_01/lost%20causes/40-flame-comp-1.jpg
Lastly... a custom 1965 Chevrolet Impala with an early to mid 60's flare and then some...( actual scribble size almost nearly twice this size or, at least, half again as big as seen here...)
http://i101.photobucket.com/albums/m45/jigger_01/lost%20causes/65ChevyCustom-2.jpg
(Hope to color this one soon.)

Love your work Zombie, the drawing turned out exactly like the tucker that is driving around inside my head! Can't wait to finally get this thing on the road... in lets say 5 years. Thanks alot
jigger, way cool. i love your chicks. pacheco, great stuff. nix66, the shoebox looks awesome. lowcab, great use of color. clysdale, thats awesome. great stuff from everyone so far this week.
here's a tucker i did for a customer. Sondre Kvipt from norway. he did all of the design work except for the rear fender scoops. he bought one of the fiberglass prop cars from the tucker movie and is currently working on this project.

rob you ever do any tutorials? im a rookie when it comes to photoshop and hell you got skills.
Thanks man. Nope, never wrote down any tutorials. There's plenty online that other colorist bros of mine have done, so i figured, eh... why bother?
Wow Guys, great show this week. robschwager great stuff, worked briefly coloring comics in early '90's. Will be at San Diego next Thursday at the ComicCon.
Thanks man! I won't make it to SDCC this year. Too slammed in X-Men deadlines. Man... I LOVE that Fairlane and that Merc ya posted! Those die-casts...? Might have to snag me some.
Great show everyone, all of it is awesome!
Rob, I dig the Deadpool comic.
keep it up fellas:)
cheers,
CAB
Thanks bro. I did a run of Deadpool covers a few years ago. Good times.
robschwager: Amazing work. I look forward to seeing some Traditional Hot Rod and car related work from you. I love seeing that stuff but you may get called to the carpet for non-topical material. (Says the guy who posted a 1980's Custom Chevyvan!
Thanks for the kind words about my stuff. I sort of knew I might get called out on posting non-car related work, which is why I apologized for hi-jacking the thread earlier. If anybody wants me to, just say so and I can remove the image tags from my earlier posts and just leave the hyperlinks to the images. That way I won't clutter up the thread with my non-car related work.
Once again, sorry for the deviation, everybody.
I hope to have some hot rod prints that i've slowly been chipping away at up and ready to post sometime soon.
Thanks!
.

No apologies necessary, I love seeing the diversity of styles on the art show. I'm just dropping a 'heads-up'. You've got great stuff to share so go for it, I think most HAMB members appreciate that.

I love the Frankie, is he for sale? fantastic work!
Some of my work. This is all etched into glass, picture frames to be exact. Most of them are 16" x 20". I'm no Guiseart, but I think I do OK.

Thanks again for the compliments.
YNOTTAYBLOCK: I really dig the sketch! Can't wait to see it if you color it.
Sean 72: No we haven't met but we should keep in touch. I've been a fan of your stuff for some time and we live super close. I'm really into the vintage drag stuff you guy's are doing and I'd like to know more about the die-cast co. you work for.
Pacheco: Thanks, I definitely love and appreciate where I work, as well as the side work I get. Wish there were more hours in the day.

Great sign, Dino!
By the way; did anybody notice that the avatars can be 160x160 pixels now (14.6k)? If you'd like a seamless fade into the board's background-color, you can use R 242, G 242, B 242 for the RGB values.

Wow... helluva show!!!
I'm coming in late, bu wanted to at least express a HUGE "TREMENDOUS WORK!!" to everyone this week... incredible talent.... Great seeing so many of the names I admire, some old faces coming back around, and even some new participants! Even cooler to see other comic artists and fans of comics work here... amazing stuff!
Been crushed with work, but wanted to submit some humble doodles...

this is the first new drawing I've done for quite some time. I was inspired by the CARTOON art challenge, thought I'd post it over here while I was at it. this is like the next step beyond the rough pencil sketch, sharpie pen, cleanup on the computer style of my avatar and a few others I've posted previously.
eventually I'd like to refine this in more of a Von Franco pen and ink style. no monsters for this one though.....
