Hey Y'All. I'm from damn-near-NY, northern PA between Elmira and Binghamton. I've been into cars, trucks and bikes for 40 yrs. (yeah F old NG). I lurked around here since the "Germ" days and it seems a little kinder, gentler HAMB now. Also I can't stand not having access to the HAMB search function. My sickness gravitates to the offshore brands and I'm emboldened by recent threads like "Foriegn Jobbies". I've had Volvo's and VW's and my current project is a `54 Jaguar sedan that's getting a mild custom build. I dig old pickups too and my daily driver is a `63 Chevy C-10, 283 stick. I bought it about a year ago to replace my modern `92 K1500. Still looks the way I bought it which is a bit too "streetrod" for my tastes. Plans are for TBI, a T5 and a repaint.
I can't say I'm all about 5" cuff jeans and bias plies but I love to do all my own building, don't like billet and dig the traditional look.

Hey Lenny,
Well, it's a `54 Jag Mark 7. The Brits call it a saloon car; in other words a Moredoor. I started diggin the look for a dare-to-be-different custom and bought this specimen almost 10 years ago. I think it looks good from every angle except the nose which is kinda snooty, Bentley wanna-be. Otherwise I see it as a half done by Jaguar, Westergard look. Sombreros a LaSalle grill and good to go.
I've got pretty much all the major components collected for the project. It's getting a fresh built belly button 383 stroker (mild cam and mannerly), 700r4, `95 T-Bird 8.8 IRS, mid 80's Jag XJ6 IFS, air ride, and leather seats F&R from a `04 Chry. 300M.
I started with the rear and so far I sectioned 4" out of the Bird subframe, redid the frame kickup and have the thing 90% installed.

Is that Jag in your shop in for resto or something creative? I checked out your site. An impressive operation. Even an Allard among the credits!
Not mine but here's a pic of `54 in OG trim:

Hope it's what you had in mind for other pics.
BTW, do you think the admin. took down my truck pic?

Thanks for the welcome Surfer and 5Window. And, thanks too Mopar34, the only crusin I do in the Jag is after my eyes close at night. It's a work in progress. Just the top pic is of my car and now it's in a half dismantled state.
