The german references?Howsabout we skip the drama bullshit,new name is D.W.,my initials,and i'll move on to tryin to impress ya w/ my general lack of knowledge about these fancy automobiles.So for the real question.While shoppin for antique fords,it seems they all come w/ 4 bangers the ones that run anyway)so....A- V8 ? There's a great book on building an av8, called "How to Build a Traditional Ford Hot Rod" by Mike Bishop and Vern Tardell. Start there.

Don't know what your original screen name was, and don't much care.

A-V8 usually refers to putting an A-body on Deuce ('32) rails with a flat head V8. My understanding is it was popular for racers becasue the "A" body was lighter.

The book mentioned is pretty good, but this here's your answer.
