New to the HAMB

Hi! I'm Katie, wife to Von Franco. I'm in the Austin Texas all girls car club, The Fender Skirts. I drive a 1948 Studebaker Pick-up that was an anniversary gift from my husband. I LOVE cars. I was a terrible tom-boy and my Dad raised me around old cars since he's an old hot rod and custom guy. I grew up (literally since I was 4 years old) influenced by the greats, such as Dick Dean, Gene Winfield, Larry Watson, Bill Hines, and West Coast Custom creator Rich Pichette.

I drive my Studebaker as much as I possibly can and some of you might have seen me and my truck at the shows with my hubby.

Anyway…. Wanted to introduce myself and say thanks for havin’ me!

Thanks everyone for the warm welcome! Glad no one minds "another girl" joinin' in on the fun. I hate when people thing I'm a "Hot Rod Hanger-on" I've grown up in this life style and I wouldn't give it up for anything!
