Does anyone know difficult is it to remove when it's time for paint? Or if there's an advantage to using it rather than WD-40 for leaving stuff bare in the short term?

supposedly you can paint over Gibb's, but I haven't heard of anyone who's tried it. I'd like to know if you can.

Gibbs Brand is the only penetrant / lubricant / waterproofer on the market that undercoats metal and can be painted over. It is completely suitable for use in body shops and paint booths.

I used Kerosene when my roof was bare for a week before painting it. It smelled kinda weird, but that gloss look was awesome. I dont even know if I got all of it off of my roof, but I had no rust after a week outside.
