No, not "The Wild One", of course I remember that one! The movie I'm trying to remember was filmed in the 80's but takes place in the 50's. The main character is a typical misunderstood tough guy who rides a Triumph and befriends a geeky guy who drove his parents' Studebaker. The rich kid in the town drove a brand new red 56 Chevy and of course the Triumph dude steals his gal. There was a crash scene at the end where the geeky kid crashed his Studebaker into the 56 Chevy in the town square. Funny how I can't remember the title or actors or director but remember all the cars and motorcycles.
Any help appreciated-

Shot all over the Ohio valley... Nelsonville was the center of it, but it was also shot in Canal Winchester, Lithopolis, the out skirts of Lancaster and many others...
Also, John Travolta's wife (pictured in an above reply) gets neekid. One of my all time favorite movies!!! Famous quote as they are riding the Triumph drunk...
"Can you drive this thing?!?"
"SHIT YEAH!!!"
Also a bit of useless trivia. The movie was almost called Heart & Soul... And car owners who had vehicles in the movie recieved dash plaques that stated their ride appeared in "Heart & Soul".
Tony if you go to www.imdb.com (http://www.imdb.com)(internet movie data base) & type in the title it'll tell ya everything you want to know about the movie & wether its available & where, who was in it , Yadayada.

Yep that is the infamous Torr in the Boston Shitbox but it's in issue 12, the 3rd anniversary issue. i think that's the one you referring too anyway. He's a character.
I knew I liked that movie for some reason...filmed in Ohio. My home state!

Coogans Bluff from the 60s comes up every once and a while
on TV.It`s about a cowboy that goes to NYC to chase a bad guy.Towards the end the cowboy(Eastwood) chases the crook(Stroud) on beautiful new (60s) Triumphs.Naturally they
crash the beauties at the end of the chase.Frikin hollywood.

Another great Triumph movie was The Great Escape.Although
the Triumph was desguised as a military BMW.Steve McQueen
who was a great fan and rider motorcycles jumps a fence
of a Greman prison camp, the most memoralable scene.
I have the poster of Steve and bike om my garage wall.
Steve McQueen financed and appeared in On Any Sunday a
classic motor cycle docementry made in 1971.
Got my DVD of it from Amazon.com,a must see.

Roadside Prophets - Ad Rock rides a Triumph (he ID's it wrong though)... John Doe rides a HD. its a wacky 80's movie, but its not set in the 50's... all kinds of cameo's though.
The Loveless was a good one set in the 50's, but there werent any Trumps that I can remember in it...
