elpolacko, are you running that truck? was that engine combo in there last year?

I intend on running it this year. The turbos were not there last year, in fact the engine that was in there was on it's last legs. My tuner guy is promising 10's but I know better. I would be giddy at the thought of a true low 12 or high 11 as my calculations are telling me.

Theoretically, if I push 15-20 psi and race gas, I have nearly 1100 HP available. Drive it right and nothing blows up there should be mid 9's in there. But I do like the thought of an honest daily street driveable 11 second pickup!

Jerry, your just salivating over the Springfield Swap. If we get our collective shit together early enough we could leave.

We are headed to Milwaukee that weekend, we are going to leave on Friday 22nd and arrive in joplin on Saturday for the drags, then we will head out from Mokan up North.

the following weekend is a nostalgia drag event in Milwaukee.

We are in Tucumcari, NM. Had an issue with a clogged fuel filter putting extra strain on the fuel pump. Filter removed and seems to have cleared things up...

we are just passing thru amarillo, literally....we are doing 70 on i40 as i type......we are driving straight thru so we should pass thru Tulsa about 5 am central time, we are stopping in Claremore to shower and eat breakfast at Mom's :D
