Some Roachy looking Rod parked at a machine shop!
I've got a little bit of SamIyam hangging up in my office now- Nice.

Another great shot of RR:

Yep, I saw the same thing this morning. What happened to the summer? And what are we going to do next year for a calendar? I guess just start over and remember that it is one day off.

Kind of ironic that it's going up for sale this month. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif
(yes, e-bay)

Oh well, it's for good intentions. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif

It's to buy a Rat Rod, isn't it Sam?! You could resist no more...

Sam, Why don't you offer it up here before Ebay? I know there are some cheap bastards on here but give it a shot. Post it for something like $35,000 and let them fight it out by offering more. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

According to some... it's to get rid of one. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Funny thing is... I've been trying to think of what to say in my auction and what to put as a title for the auction... I know the words "RAT ROD" will enable more people to see the auction... but on the other hand I've been bashing the term for the past few years... what a dilemma! http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Yes, irony indeed. In order to sell your car, you must Sell Your Soul!!!

Maybe RAT ROD isn't such a bad term after all. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Sam.. just put something like:

Hot Rod fat like a Rat

In the description line...
that way it'll still come up when someone types "rat Rod" in the search field...

That would be a cop out Jeff,
Maybe I could list it as:

"1923 Ford T Hot Rod Track Roadster RAT RODZ SUCK" http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Sam.

what about:

1923 ford chevy NOS hot rod bling rimz rat sex nambla

You will get a larger audience....

I was thinking a while back how cool it would be if anytime a HAMBEr was to put ANYTHING on E-bay that he/she/we should put hamb at the end of the description....
that way I could go on the bay and type in hamb and it will pull up all of the hambers shit... like Hami's underoo's collection....

Or the ubiquitous "not" that all sellers use now to get views.

I had some tranny tools lying around and wanted to sell them in e-bay... so I put the name and then "Not Snap-On" in the description, and they closed my auction down! Said I was "baiting and switching" or something like that...

Just list it as the "Roach rod", and don't forget to put HAMB in the description. I have gotten a bunch of "hits" from that term. I guess it was guys trying to search out the HAMB shirts.

Put it like it is....

Ford roadster. A real hot-rod, not a rat rod.

Well, since I can't afford to buy it I'll help sell it. You have to add "as seen in "Rod and Custom" Magazine. Also, 12 second car.
