King of Clubs drag races @ Barona

I didn't see any posts about this (didn't want to repeat).
Actually I was wondering if anyone had more info (bands, beer), and who all might be going.

It's about 5 miles past the casino. It's fairly new, maybe a year old. 1/8 mile strip.

Did anyone go?
I had the family packed up. Looked at the thermometer in the Explorer http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shocked.gif102 degrees http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif and that was 20 miles west of the track. Musta been at least 105 out there. There was no way I was going to make my wife and kids (1,3 yrs) go thru that. Oh well, maybe next event won't be so hot.
