Hey, I am outta Dallas, Texass here 32 years old new to the whole realm of hot roddin. I can turn some wrenches and few things but I am joining so I can learn some things from some real gearheads. Not really able to purchase any projects just yet, but if you know of any good reads and things to help out someone who would like to be able to put something together at some point. Thanks for listening. Really interested in building up and old Triumph chopper at some point or maybe a good lookin rat rod. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

Better watch out for THE chupacabras in the area, they might get a little territorial and think you're a goat.

Um...

You might think about a name change....

There is a car club with several members on the Hamb that is based outta Dallas / Ft worth called the Chupacabras....
Things could get a little confusing to everyone on the board if you are posting under this name and are not associated to the Chupacabras car club....

Just a friendly heads up..... http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

O, and welcome to the Hamb!

heres another heads up the "rat rod" has become a dirty word.....I nearly lost it this weekend listening to Jerry Titus talk about the new movement in cars as the "Rat Rod Rockabilly kats" I think I even spit some mountain dew at a poor lady standing in front of me fuuuun-nnnnnyyyyy. Anyway welcome to the Hamb.

Yeah thanks man I have been noticing that they even use it on ebay to describe some hot rods. Pretty sad really.
