I stumbled across this old unfinished 60s show trike. I think it's pretty cool, especially with V8-60 flathead power. It's a little too flashy to be in my own personal stable, but in the right hands, this could be really wild!

Kinda weird, but there's something about it that I really like. Just not sure what that is.

Amazing what you can do with a wheelbarrow and a little scrap boiler plate & pipe.

That's cool, I was thinking a couple of days ago I never see anything weird on the road anymore. When I was a kid it seemed like there was always something bizarre running around, now everything is either a ricer with bumble bee exhaust or soccer moms driving suburb assault vehicles..

Loungelife, you are so right... I don't know how old you are... I'm 39 and can remember seeing all kinds of stuff, especially the kit cars...

We are so boring these days... we need to take back the roads.

Well I could sure use the motor and I bet Liz Taylor wouldn't mind a new hot tub/garden trellis.
But gold plating her share of the parts would be expensive

Born in '73 - back in the "seemed like a good idea at the time" era

One of my favorite things growing up - besides Dad's 55 was his 351 Windsor powered Pinto, that's right - Pinto.

I had a friend in '83 that had a 350 chevy in a MG midget... that was the only Chevy I ever liked...

Great find! Big Daddy Roth style. You people hit in on the mark....many moon's ago these and other's were common every day: Dune Buggie's, Real Chopper's, and Mile High Gasser's. Here is a vehicle that could use the 'Cole' touch. Or mabe another talented builder?

Saw this at Hotrod Reunion last year, took a few pics of it too. Pretty cool piece of work. The body is hand fabricated as is the intake and other such parts. Well built and looks like a first class effort, if not a freaky one.

If you look closely at my last picture you will see a radiator laid down in front of the rear axle.

Maybe I'm getting forgetfull because of all the fun I had back in the 60's ,
but I don't remember the swept back handlebars until the 80's. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif
The 60's and 70's had tons of VW trikes running around the bay area, but they all had the handlebars further back with a linkage connected to the front end.

That bike could be a ruler with a little work....I really like the little sketch you made haring.....I bet with some nice exhaust in the air like that along with radir back wheels and radir slicks http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif....it has so damn much character its crazy...that homemade intake is sick too. thanks for posting, too bad im poor
