Wanted to introduce myself and say hi from North Texas. I'm retired and getting a little bored, so I put a post up looking for an old front engine top fuel dragster (Peebles and Williams). If I locate the car I am going to restore it to late 60's style and cackle the car. If I can't locate it, then I will settle for building and old 50's or 60's style rod. Some of you 60+ year old guys from Texas and Oklahoma probably know me for some of the old dragstrips (Green Valley, Forest Hills, Cedar Hill, Circle Drag Strip, North Richland Hills Drag Strip, Irving Drag Strip, Grapevine Drag Strip, Guard Base, Dallas International, Greater South West, Caddo Mills, Springer, OK. City, Wichita Ks, Wichita Falls, San Antonio, Houston two tracks, Amarillo, Whitehouse, Tyler and the list goes on and on). I get a big kick out of reading the posts and looking at the pix on the HAMB and have been a lurker for about a year. Be Safe!
