I have been noticing lately people getting new body tags for vehicles similar to the one that is on auction. Where do you apply to get those? The reason I ask is I lost the vin plate for my 54 chevy when it was getting chopped and I would like to find a replacement. I also need one for my 60 because the one that was on the car was damaged when I got it and finally fell off a while back. The cars have been registered for a while now so can I get one reissued or can you buy the tags and have them stamped for your car if you have it registered? If I try to put the original one for my 60 back on it will look stupid because I will have to drill another hole in it to put it back on since the ends are rusty and damaged.

This may not be much help but the vin plate on my car was missing too. I found a photo of what it was supposed to look like and took it to the local trophy shop. They made one for me that is darn close and it only cost me $5.
