O/T my dad called me,looks like im going to own a panhead

for a really impressive price,impressive for any harley actually..he is going to put some money down to hold it.i might try to go look at it next weekend while im back in michigan.i will take pictures of it if i do.when he told me,i was so excited i was shaking.its not everyone anymore that gets to have a 49 panhead as their first harley!

well next weekend i will be all over..friday im going to stay around parma and hang out with my dad.saturday him and i are taking his 72 chevy pickup and 73 chevy van to the berger chevy car show in grand rapids (http://www.bergerchevy.com/CamaroSS/ChevySHOW4.htm) sunday im going home to kzoo to see my mom,grandpa,sisters and nephew.then one of my sisters is going to have a party.and i dont know about monday yet.hahah.

i had a complete original '49 back before harleys became fashion statements. i traded a stereo for it and after it swallowed a valve in the rear jug i swapped it for a meyers manx dunebuggy. if i still had all the harleys i've owned i'd be a fuckin millionaire http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/mad.gif
the 49 was a milestone year, first year of the panhead (61 ci), last year for springer forks etc.
