My 32 pickup had a deuce chassis under it(obvious)..did the 33/34 P/U have the same chassis?........Did Henry keep making deuce chassis in 33/34 for his pick-ups?.....

33/34 pick ups used the same frames as pass. Thats why the 33/34 front fenders that are always on eGay won't fit a 32. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

No. the 33-34 Fords had a longer wheel base. Car and truck There are some technical differences between the pick up truck and car chassis...holes, cage nuts etc. but for all practical hot rodder purposes the car and P/U chassis are the same.

The difference can be seen from the side. The distance from the back of the cab to the rear fender is longer on the 33-34 like this one.

you can see the rear wheel is closer to the cab on this shorter 32 P/U.

AM I to understand that the cab is identical otherwise from 32-34? No dash changes or bolt locations differences? I guess I never realized that the cars changed but the P/Us didn't.
The dash and the firewall changed in 33. An extra belt was added around the back of the cab in 34. I don't know about the steering column drop. Might have changed. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
