The funny thing is....I never noticed the shape of the rear window before....It looks good though....great work.....maybe you guys would like to help dv8 with his 50 ford....I don't know....he'll probably say..."why'd you say that? Stewpid?"

Actually chopolds I chopped the car initially 13 years ago and I screwed up the back window really bad. I made it from scratch and it held up pretty good, but boy was it FUGLY. I didn't realize then that you could take parts from other cars and fit them to yours. Plus I had zero car friends, just some dudes I'd see at the cruises and stuff. On top of that I was in a major state of depression, this car kept me sane....kinda. That's why I don't think I could ever sell her. She's given years of good service. Ooops shouldn't have said that, watch her blow up.
So yeah after years of on again and off again work I can see a light at the end of the tunnel.
All she really needs now is a good going over with a DA, some heavy priming and block sanding. And she's ready for paint.

The new curved backlite looks right, fits in with the rest of the car. Yes, that old window looked a bit flat for that roof.

Thank you. what are we going to cut next will get so far ahead of the tampa boys they will never catch up. Had to hold switchblade teeths hand didn't want that grinder to jump off that metal and hit me in my bigums or is that my big ones haha . You can't pass the torch if they don't know how to light it . Next time he'll be doing some cutting.had a good time thank to all. How did the skim coat of filler go.Next time the tampa boys can come and stare at are work .All but bigums he was mumbling something about moving to otown.swicth blade teeth is a head of the tampa boys

Grinder my old Highwayman pal, I can't tell you how great you were.
Now you gotta finish the '34 Cabriolet. That car was a Godsend, you get to get on it and show these guys a real Hot Rod, homey. It's been too long bro', I know you got kids and a fucked up knee, but the car's gotta be done in this lifetime. Fuck, you paid the price of a decent '34 grille for the whole effing car, you got lucky. I know you like to work alone, but I'm there anytime, despite the fact that Bithlo/Christmas is a scary neighborhood.

I need a week off work to get the car dialed in for paint, I haven't had a vacation this year, maybe I oughta to ask for some time off.

I"am like you got three car projects going at one time that is why I sold all the other cars to work on just the three. Thing are coming together a few more pieces parts for the 34 and I'll do a marathon for a couple of month and thrash on it like a mofo. No paint etc just running like yours in the rough for a while.The last to be worked on will be my 47 plymouth . The 50 just needs some tlc here and there but is running. plus my parts stash for the 28'29 and 26'27 roadsters ah hahahaha! The knee and the back didn't stop me saturday did it I"am just like an old kustom have lead in my ass from time to time . hahaha got the window in primer yet post some more pics.
