Can someone explain the posers with the WCC t-shirts and lifted F100's with HD decals in the back window to me ? What makes all these dudes think that they are the" BAD " man on the block just cause they are wearing a black shirt and drive in and outa traffic ? Facsimiles of our tilted abnormal normality .......Can't stand store bought posers !

my ex-boss had a lifted 250 with the WCC stickers and every bolt on product you could buy for his Harley. A total jack-ass that thought my hotrod sucked. He would drive around thinking he was the coolest thing ever
He even had the Jesse James gloves that say "pay up sucker" on the palm.... no shit! what a fucking moron. When he put those things on I laughed right in his face and that was pretty much the end of it for us.
Jesse James sure has a cool line of products. BUT, I'm going to work today, he's not.... one's born every day.

The discovery channel has just made a marketing monster outta OCC and WCC. I think we should be more worried about the same thing happening to their latest Boyd Coddington special. That would just be great, discovery makin little kiddies think that boyds "hot rods" (i apologize for the loose application of the term to brand new hand made prowlers) were the coolest cars around like they did with OCC's bikes...

I avoided the entire assload of 'WCC' and 'Von Dutch' fashion-bashing posts until now because I simply had no strong feelings about the topic. I hate to see a cool thing 'sell out', but understand that I'd do it in a minute if there was a hot market for 'Blake Rocks!' tees and jackets.
The reason I posted here re: my nephew's Von Dutch shirt is that this made the issue personal for me. It was half-funny/half-infuriating to have my nephews and their girlfriends explain to their older-and-therefore-obviously-outta-touch uncle that Von Dutch is the newest 'in' thing.

It was only a matter of time before I came across this thread. The way I see it.. It's clothes. people wear what makes them feel good about themselves.
