are there any members that keep a hoodless car outdoors? reason I ask is tha tI have no garage space and am lookoing at a hoodless T project but didn't know if it would be a bad idea. if I have to I could put a hood but no sides on it just to cut down on the weather. I assume I owuld have to give it a wd40 bath on a regular basis (or silicon)

My old pickup had a hundred louvers and sat outside for years. There's more water gets sprayed on alternators, etcx. driving in the rain. Only caution I did was put a rubber washer off a battery holddown on the carb stud as the filter lid was depressed in the middle.

I've run many, the only precaution I took was on my T-bucket. I was running a tunnel ram (this was in the 70's) with velocity stacks, in wet wheather I had a pair of pink (so no would steal them) shower caps stuck over the carbs when parked. It was a glass car (the 1st and last) so I had to drill holes in the floor for drains (that was never a problem for the rest) http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
