I was finally able to take the car for a short drive!

Everything went ok, except the `good` transmission that I bought pops out of second gear (warning; dont buy anything from American Graffiti Performance in Lakewood, Colorado!).

Other than that, everything went pretty good; it didnt overheat, my re-wiring job worked (nothing fried!), the rear end seems ok, engine runs good, etc.

Well, after I get this transmission shit figured out, then its time for a little rocker panel rust repair! Fun fun.

Eeeeeeeeeeeeeeeexcelent! What a nice, straight, solid 51 coupe! I love it. Shouldn't be too hard to slip new synchros in the gear box. Congrats.

Actually, I REALLY wish I had a 409 to put in there!

Thanks, actually, its a good 20-30 footer, up close its kind of a hack job, but it is getting better!
