Hey, earl, (funny, that's what I say when I pull the dipstick outta my engine; "Hey, earl, how ya doin'? Are ya in there?" http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif) I'll be staying at some timeshare place over in Gatlinburg; I gotta call to get the directions. A buddy of mine is coming up from Texas, and we're maybe going to try and get up a poker game Wed. night.
Ratster, I'll look for ya at the show, thanx.
'63, We still don't call them rat rods, and no, with all the high zoot cars and magazine coverage, they prolly won't let one in - better drive th' Honda. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
Just kiddin', if your ride looks like a hot rod, even sorta unfinished, they'll take your money ($40.00 for two people for all day Fri. & Sat.) Heck, I understand they even let in some trailered cars....

I should be there, I usually drive up on Friday.
Hotel rooms are high as hell and hard to come by, or maybe I'm just a cheap bastard. I figure that's $120 bucks that I
can spend in the swapmeet.
This is what I did last year.
Parked in a parking lot next to a campground right off the strip at about midnight. Put a carcover over the car, slipped a cot under the back of the car, slid under the cover and slept like a baby. Woke up 'bout 6:30AM walked into the campground showerhouse, took care of the shit/shower/shave. Walked into the lobby of the hotel next door got a cup of coffee, iced up my cooler and headed to the show.
