Honestly I liked it in the first picture. I am not a restorer but how many model a coupes can be done different when they all look the same? The first one with out fenders is ORIGINAL(sp) It doesn't moo like all the rest in the herd.

My .02 sense

SBC/TH350, already collecting parts. I scored a mint Offy 4/2 intake, the one that looks like a Man-A-Fre http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif and some other small stuff for the engine, but it's gonna be a loooong process. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smirk.gif I've never built a car from the ground up before. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/crazy.gif

It looked to be in alot better shape then it really was (bent frame) so I would have had to tear it apart anyway, but I understand what you are saying, only thing is I dont own any of the other ones. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

What kind of wheels are those in the first picture?

And more importantly, what are you gonna do with em? http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

When I was attending a restoration program back in Kansas we chalked up a 31 coupe that had just been sandblasted,we had it all marked for chopping, the next day we got our asses reamed by the instructor,he given a tour to a model A club and about gave some of the old farts a heart attack,I've since learned the error of my ways and now believe everthing should be chopped, not just model A's, yours looks good so far, would look better with a flat head though.

Wow, that thing was just as cool before as it is after...I'd like to see it in person when I go down there. I'll let you know when I expect to be in Fresno and maybe you can shoot over to see my '30. Your car is gonna rule, seems like you had a great, solid starting point.

I paid to much for the car but I realy wanted to start with something solid. When you come down this way are you going to be bringing your tattoo stuff??? http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Muttley....As this is my first hotrod, I have nothing to trade. I'm in the process of gathering parts for it. All my old race car stuff has been sold too.
