...doesn't mean it's ever time not to act young.

That's an old timer that hangs out here at Wally's on Tuesdays named Jim Ryder. He's been into hot rods for over 50 years, and if ya get him down for a few moments he'll take the time to tell you some of the great times he's had over the years. I had my bike out there last Tuesday, and walks over and asks if he can ride it. He hops on it and starts riding around the goddamn parking lot BACKWARDS. The man is turning *71* this year. You're never too old!

Just a little reminder!

I wish I had that kind of energy now and I just turned 40!!!! Gotta love those kinda people they give you a small dose just being around them.

Good ol' Jim. Mike's kids always call him grandpa cuz he hates it with a passion. It's funny to see him squirm when they do it. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif (Earl's grandkids)

That is a cool O/T! We could use MORE of these 'gem's' than that other "stuff". Love to hang out with this gentleman and his shop. Great thread dude!

I'm just a little more than half his age, and I still can't do that...

My grandfather (who is in his 80's) can still ride his bike backwards and taught me how to do it when I was young http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif
