Do we really need to say "Look at this ugly freakin' car" to took make ourselves look better?
Someone could probably make comments on the chopped top on your wagon. There are guys here that just don't think it should ever be done, and could start a similar thread about your car...Savvy?

Your "Bobber truck" is nicely done and I saved pics for the 36 that's sitting out back, but...there are also guys here that think they are ugly and a waste of sheet metal.

Point - you do nice work man.
Feel good about that.
Leave the mud slinging to the idiots in politics.

Well, before they delete this one,I`ve got to say, once again, that that is a terrible waste of a 55 Chevy.....
Freedom of speach and all that.

He was free to build it,and I`m free to say,no sir,I don`t like it-LOL.

I figure anyone who would build anything that nasty would be tough enough not to get his feelings hurt when someone(everyone) says it is fugly.

The guy is trying to unload it on e-bay anyway,so he can`t be that in love with it anyhow-LOL.....

Yep,
The mods here will let us talk about sex, swear like a sailor, and preach the virtues of a "hooligan" lifestyle.... As long as we dont hurt anyones feelings about how ugly their car is. :D

BTW, that really was the ugliest 55 I'v ever seen!

Don't sweat it.
There are many posts that have much more mud slinging and drama that go on for 10 pages before they are dumped. Go figure.
Others die a quick death.
Ask yourself what you are here for; drama or good information sharing.
Sit back and read the posts. Decide what is worth your time and what isn't. Or "who" is and isn't. You will get a feel for who and what topics to ignore and who always has great stuff to share.
If you want good information... there are LOTS of good people here who post lots of good stuff. Many of them don't even start the threads but help out with information on an already running thread.
If you want drama and trashing... you will notice that some people can get away with major mud slinging and personal trashing of others while most can't.
Stuff like that happens.
Do I agree with how the moderators handle every post?
The mods have a tough job keeping everyone happy. I wouldn't want the job.
I'm glad they do so we have this place.
Now.. 3-2-1 CLOSED ;)

sorry for not knowing all the rules but i did see a post on here a while back titled ugliest customs or worst kustoms of all time. (cant remember which) i just thought it fell under the same category.

Agreed...
The mods do have a tough job. Lord knows I'v made their job tough a time or two :D
All in good fun tho. Sometimes they let us blow off a little steam, and I'v even seen the mods join in the fun once or twice, but it's rare.

Dont take your post being deleted as a personal attack. If they dont like you, they will tell you!

Don`t sweat it. When my son died earlier this year and I was asking for prayers, the mods pulled my topic after about 5 mins as OT while others in similar distress have their threads go on for page after page.....

I think that one got locked down too eventually.

Your post also had a link to eBay in it which I'm sure had something to do with being closed.

The death of your son was very tragic and I personally said a prayer, but after many discussions with fellow Moderators / Ryan decided that the increase in O/T posts was escallating ( including personal crisis and tradgedy) to the point of drifting away being a Hot Rod and Custom site.

This is a no win situation / decision and there isn't anything that will reduce the feelings of loss of your son other to say we are sorry you had to experience the ultimate sorrow as a parent.

I think all can notice that O/T posts have decreased including personal requests.

I am sorry for the loss of your son.

Sincerely,
Cob
