This Willy's was disgustingly cool. Dude bought it about 2 years ago.
I can dig '33 or is it '34 Ford with the four bar spinners.
Just plain cool.

This is the "small" motor. I invited the dude to the drags, but I think he thought it was held in my back yard or sumthin.

Crease, thanks for posting the pictures. As I was waiting the rain to really come down I had a chance to speak with Danny and Andy. Both say they really had a good time hanging out. Those guy really know their stuff about cars.
Mark did you run into any major rain? Like me.
Remind me to tell you about my doughnut on 1604. The car is OK but I had to change my underwear.
Andy, Thanks for the cookie.

FLAT TOP,
Thanks for the compliment. Im countin the days til the drags, we'll see ya there.
Sandman,
I'll put the rest of the pics on a CD for you. Had a blast hanging out with you as usual. Is your car all original? That's what I over heard. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif
Willie,
Rain is very, very, very painful at 70 mph. That stuff really stings quite badly. We ran through a low water crossing and my socks got wet. No kidding! Dougnout on 1604? No wonder you didn't take the roadster out today. Went over to Blane's (the boy needs a nick name, thinkin Willie's biatch maybe) to help him chop the 31'. I was tellin him the same thing. It's great to be hangin out with folks as knowledgeable as Andy and Danny. On top of that, they're just plain cool guys. I've been admiring Andy's car for several years now, it was nice to get to know him a little better. That dude knows his stuff!

I herd "barn fresh" my take on the green thing is it's just flat out rude. Just the way I like it.
Willie
After ringing out my clothing, I had a chance to reflect on my ride home. No top, no windshield wipers, no brains. I was happy to get home! Gad you made it home in a ROUND ABOUT kinda way.

HAMBer formerly known as Lesabre59,
I knew the second I saw that car and the price Saturday morning that you wouoldn't be driving it long. Sandman and my buddy Blane were both freakin out on it. That's one hell of a car, but the good news is it wasn't when you picked it up. You can just have the fun all over again.
Talk to you soon buddy!
P.S Doing the taco thing this Sunday at Mr Taco around 9:00. Hope to see you there sir.

CREASE,
Sunday at 9 sounds good, but I'll probably be in the truck this time.
SANDMAN,
Just started doing the chassis on the A. Four-bar front w I-beam and rear with coilovers, fully boxed. The body has to have the usual patch panels and the roof was cut down about 4" and tacked, so i'm thinking about another inch or two and then the usual flame job outta the garage!

Lesabre59, I told you the car was going to sell. You probably could have gotten more $$$$$. Now you have some working $$$$$$ for that A. How did you and Mr. Merc get home? I could have given you a pretty exciting ride.
Are you going to have to change your HAMB name to A-hole?
HA HA.
Thanks for the advice. That is just not something that they teach in drivers education in Mexico. What can I say it was cheaper.
Crease, I programmed myself to think of a nick name for Blane. I came up with MAN BITCH.
You are right, rain can be painful but at least I didn’t have to bathe that night. Did I mention that I was wearing a gray industrial strength trash bag. I was so embarrassed all I could think of was all the chick's laughing at me. I could hear them saying "hey isn’t that fat Ricky Martin spinning around in the rain driving a black 32 roadster in a gray industrial strength trash bag" I wish was not wearing that trash bag.
Sandman, I am sorry to say that on that trip home the thought of being a gold chainer did cross my mind. What piece of mind to have a top, windshield wipers and my car on a trailer. But what fun would that be?
Slick Willie
