So I figure I may as well start with this thing I did a couple of nights back. Kinda rough and some inconsistent lines but my daughter likes it, so I figure it's either really bad or not so bad as I think.

About a month ago Jester and I did an art swap. He sent me one of his chainsaw pistons and a bare one for me to play with. I haven't painted much the last two weeks, what little free time I have had has been spent actually working on my car project. Well last night I couldn't sleep so I decided to see what I could do with the piston. The eyes are BBs. Hope I did you proud Fred! http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Ok, since it's started, i'll go ahead and post mine... I had a dream about scooting across the sand in my pickup (which is right now just a rusty cab)... so here it is, worked about an hour a day all week.
My first time remote hosting an image, so bear with me..

Yup really is Friday here, Carps wouldn't lie about something that serious and the Friday art posts are deadly serious!
Ok here is a couple of things I actually striped this week. One is a panel off the computer desk I built a long time ago and have only just got around to striping, actually the other side is flamed. The other is the top off my scanner. Geoff aka Whodaky

Well it's been a long day for me so I guess I'll post a couple things I did this week including a gun safe I finished up about an hour ago.First several pics of a bike.I wish I had thought to take a pic of the throttle on this machine because the owner lost his right hand in an accident some years ago.To ride,he has affixed to the throttle a hoop of metal about the size of a big end on a connecting rod and sticks the stump of his arm through it to turn the throttle.Works great!
The safe pics aren't too great because it's wrinkle finish and I couldn't really move it out into the light(it weighs about 1600 lbs). Some of the gold striping and the lettering was already on it;I added an outline to the letters and the red.
