View Full Version : Bad news for old cars in NC...
Richards is closing. http://www.richardsclassiccars.com/
After Bingham's closed last year this is tragic. There will be no major classic salvage in the state.

Is that the yeard right down the street from Bingham's? It looks like it is close to there on the map but I can't really tell. If it is not do they have a lot more cars than it shoes on the web site?

Yeah it was right there on 49 as well. Big bummer. Now I just need a Tobacco wharehouse and some green..... Ha ha... I guess when I ran my mouth over the weekend someone actually listened to me. Damn I wish I could pull this off.... Hmmm...

I went to that yard the same day of the Binghams auction. They didn't have a lot of old old stuff, a lot of 70's stuff. I thought their pricing was wacked out too. I wanted to buy the rear end out of a Country Squire wagon, I pull it they wanted $350. WTF it is a country squire wagon, I can't believe too many people want the rear end out of that. That wucks though, you hate to see yards disapear.

i've got alot of memories there, went alot when my brother lived in charlotte. i bet old richard LOVED to see us yankees coming. we did pretty good though, i might have gotten screwed in comparison to junkyard prices, but MUCH cheaper than repop crap if it existed. wow.
