I have a picture of this thing in my garage. I like it. When I had my 34 parked under the picture, my friends would always say how nice they look painted.

I pulled the picture down. I still have it in my garage though. I like the 60's. If you drove this thing in '62 you would be doing alright.

I dont know about the grille skirt or flat firewall or the tail lights...... but, I simply love 33-34's. Real or not.

Henry did alright with that one

33/34 Fords are one of the nicest cars ever built. The lines just flow! That is a prime exaple of o good lookin one too.

there are too many things wrong with it for me.

I see what the attempted effect is but it lacks soul.

maybe just me but at $24,000 plus and reserve not met I would rather spend that kind of money on a survivor.

not a tupperware imitation.

little things like the later carbs, braided stainless, billit steering wheel, plated valve covers, etc. all that cheese turns me off.

and the motor looks lost in the engine bay..

give it to me, I could fix it. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif

I love that car. Maybe its lack of knowledge, but i cant find a single thing on that car that i dont like, and im not gonna look for things wrong with it. Im not really into 33s and 34's but that one and this one http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif are 2 that I really LOVE seeing. Its hard to explain, but they both just do it for me.

Jesus, a little soon to look at that picture. the guy that bought that car owns a bunch of other cars and I bet he never ever drives mine. The smells and exhaust note would drive even the toughest man to his knees. And there's no way his wife rode in it more than once.

of course the differences are many but just the body sitting lower on the frame in the second makes a huge difference.

to me.

put the paint and wheels from the first on the second and you got something.

I like the car, the finished product is really nice. I have to agree on the lacking soul part, it looks like a kit car, T.C.I. chassis, fiberglass body. I guess it seems to me that not to much of it was fabricated but store bought. I am not so sure I like the firewall something about it strikes me funny. Overall I really can appreciate the car, it takes alot of work to finish a car to that extent.

P.s. Gooch I like your old one better.

what's going on here? I post about a car that has very little wrong and it goes to the nether regions of the hamb pages. Some other guy picks a picture of some hack roadster pickup and it stays on top..... what gives?

seriously, I enjoy picking on a dumb car like the next guy but it seems thats all that goes on here.

this mustard colored 34 is fucking bad. Sure it's everything that others before have said, but it's still better that 99% of the shit on this board. leave that poor guy and his roadster pickup alone http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Rick Dore does some killer stuff and i don't care if that car is made of paper mache, it F'n ROCKS!... the Gooch coupe is badass too. i've wanted a 3 window 33/34 for a long time. coulda bought one from a friend about 3 1/2 years ago. full fenders and a fresh flathead with some nice finned heads and a few other goodies. problem was i JUST bought my house and got married so buyin that car woulda been the end of both... http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif

WOW!! thats prolly coolest 5 window i've ever seen. i usually prefer 3 windows but i would'nt kick that car out of the garage for nothin....

While were on the subject, does anyone know why Ford made a 3 and a 5 window? It seems like alot of trouble to build a completely different car yet they basicly still the same.
