I'm really amazed of how cool the H.A.M.B. is and all its members. Well today I found another reason why I'm on here. I really appreciate the heads up on specific companies that fellow HAMBers have had problems and good experiences with, like Tinys Chop Shop, and Stockton Wheels. Maybe Ryan could make a seperate list of treads where guys talk about the issues they have had with specific companies, so before we buy or do business with them we have a heads up of what kind of company we are dealing with. Hopefully and legally it could happen, just an idea.

The beauty of people being able to share their experiences with different companies is there is no recourse from the companies mentioned. This is a public forum and if someone feels they need to express their like/dislike for a product or vendor they should be allowed to say so.

The Vendor should be sure no one feels the need to do so. Like the good old days.

If we modify those postings in any way it can be construed as agreeing/disagreeing with the content of that post and could possibly result in action.

Hopefully anyone thinking of spending with any Vendor will search the name here first, read what shows (with a grain of salt) and then decide for themselves.

That said....there are some really dumb ass customers in the world that you can't do anything to please, and who would be more than happy to slander a good company before admitting their own mistakes.

There's always that. But who gets to decide?

Vendors need to take the good with the bad and do what they can to rectify the situation. If they cannot and they have a customer out to get them AND that customer posts there should be no one else on his bandwagon and the post will croak. Anyone finding that post in a search will see the lack of response and that's where the grain of salt comes in handy.

As they always say... a happy customer tells 3 people, and an unhappy customer tells 10. I've had over 1000 transactions on Ebay, and only one was negative, and he was obviously a dumbass and nailed me over a $4 item that I told him I'd resend. He agreed, then nailed me.

Good business practices will speak for themselves, and you'll hear about it here as well. Good, bad, whatever.

Yes,there are a few that will go out of their way to be a big PITA.
And those are the ones that we remember.

But the majority will be reasonable and civilized.
