Here are a few pics of my projects. Spend most of my time with the black one. It is a daily driver with a 350,4 wheel discs, updated rearend and soon to be 700R. I have found an extra column to shorten. How can I remove the steering tube from the steering box. Any Ideas on this. Thanks Jerry

Sawzall. They're one piece units. Or, save yourself some trouble and get a later GM manual column with a turn signal switch in it - any manual trans or floor shift column up to '68 will work and will take the stock steering wheel.

Thanks for the response. The metal tube is pressed into the cast steering box so I thought it might come apart. Thanks for the info. Jerry
