Howdy all. Tim here. I was thinking that many on the HAMB have the skills to add marker lights on the tops of headlights that lack them. I have a pair of the guides or BLC's that don't have the lights. Has anyone done this that would like to share how they did it? I am always looking for some deco looking little light that I can add to the top but as of yet I have not found anything. Any thougts on this?

Wow? No other cool ideas? I'd think this would be helpful to many. I had been thinking of motorcycle applications. Any other ideas?

I mounted a bulb inside the headlight bucket.

Weld in a socket and presto!

you could prolly use the old sparto aka "limp dick" cycles tailights as a marker... might be a little big, though...

I have a set of Guide lights that I plan to use. I picked mine up for $13 at the Carlisle, PA swap. The guy wanted $20 for them, but I talked him down. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/laugh.gif

I have the Guide/BLC ones without the marker on top...in many cases you can find these and they are much less expensive...add a marker and you're there...my thoughts.

1958-1963 beetle marker lights may be small enough to mount on top of the headlight
