Well, I was gonna go to Wyotech and was all hyped up about it but things all changed today!
I talked to my boss at Allan Rod & Custom (my very part time gig) and asked if I took some welding class could I come in and learn off him and the other guys. He said "Sure! Hell, come out and work!" So I get to help on the cars untill I am good enough to work on my own. So long Wyotech (I wasnt liking the $50K CAN it was gonna cost me anyway!).
So now, instead of spending big money on school, the wife and I are gonna buy a place with a garage and I'm gonna start on my first rod.
I'm thinking a Model A so I can chop, channel, Zed frame ect. I think it will show my skills to a future employer should I have to go outside of Allan R&C (doubtful).
Anyways, I was way to excited by this and had to share it with perfect strangers (well, I know a few of you)
