Most of us have seen several pictures of Cole Foster's blue bike already. I had the good fortune to see it in the flesh at the CHRR and pictures don't do it justice. You really need to see it up close and personal.
I know little or nothing about bikes but I know style when I see it and this one has it in spades.

Thanks for the pics Don. That bike gets better every time I see it.

Cole was telling a funny story about riding it around like crazy for a photo shoot and getting a bit close to the photographer, I'll let him tell the result if he wants to. I have a feeling that that baby can move!

I have a question about the "flush" mounted headlight? Does the beam just point up in the air when illuminated? http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/confused.gif
I have to say that's the one part of the bike that always look awkward to me. Otherwise, it's gorgeous, and I always get a big kick out of Cole's work.

I think the headlight is off a vrod, right? The light comes out straight, not up.

That nigga Cole is one talented muther, none better, none more anal. But you gotta be anal when you're that driven. Cole rules, no doubt about it.
drd57, nice meeting you at chrr and for posting some pics.
The headlight, Its like a 911 porsche kinda deal the glass is leaned back but there is a halo and reflector inside ,and it points light down.
its a lil adjustable fog or running light inside a bucket. I unglued a sealbeam with a metal reflector, welded up the hole that halo bulb went, welded brackets inside light and put lil fog or running light in bracket, and made bezel to hold glass to bucket.
