Ok, I got back to Arkansas, got most of my stuff unloaded, been workin night and day on the brakes for the Pontiac, finally got 'em workin enough to make a drag thru town...they slow down but dont stop http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif I have a different master cylinder that is goin' in there ASAP...from a TRUCK...appearently, my thought that the VOLUME from the 67' caddy master wasn't enough to work was right...

I have two that I picked up for cheap...one is a BIG plastic one from a late 80's chevy truck, the other is a good old metal one from a not so new chevy truck (would definately look better than the obscene looking plastic thing complete with bar code sticker)...but should have the volume neccessary to make things work right...i hope...

anyone used these before with front and rear drum setup, or should I just keep the single line and hope that all goes well?

i'm just making semi-educated guesses here but i believe most late model (disc/drum) mc's have a check valve arrangement in them to keep a little residual pressure in the lines. some cars have the valve in a seperate block outside the mc but i think some also have it integral to the mc. anyway, imho, you wouldn't want to use an mc that had one on a drum/drum system.
where you at in ar ? i'm in hot springs
