While I was moving over the last 2 weeks, I found a Revell 1/8 scale big deuce model kit and a 1/8 scale Corvette from the mid 80's. Both of the are partially assembled and I know that the big deuce is all there. What are these worth? I'll offer them to you guys first but they will got to ebay eventually.

Actually they would be Monogram. The Big Deuce has just been re-released. Not sure what the prices of your models would be over there. Probably not that much I would suspect! K&R would probably have a fair idea! Geoff aka Whodaky

I was just about to say the big duece is still available and I have seen it at the hobby store, but I don't remember how much it was.

The new big deuce is priced anywhere between 70 bucks on Ebay to 99 bucks in hobby shops.

Big Deuce - Red issue is from '63, Yellow from '63ish, Black is from '75ish, Dark Blue early 90's German issue, White is the late 90's US issue, and the newest issue is Yellow again.

Prices flucuate wildly on ebay... i've seen MIB Red issue of the Deuce go for anywhere between $150 to $750. The newer the issue, the less it's worth typically. But honestly, the newest issue is the best since it's got the flathead and 40 steel wheels. http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

The old Big Deuce kits arent worth much now that the re-release is out. The newest version has a lot of new parts in it, aka flathead! You could probably get $50 or something on eBay. Hobby Lobby has the newest at something like $78 while an independent hobby shop I frequent has em for about $98.

Not sure about that Vette. You could probably get a decent price for it though. I've never seen or heard of a mid '80's vette model, so I'll assume it's kinda rare. Though I could be completely wrong about it.

Cool finds!

My new Big Deuce kit just arrived--WOW! I couldn't afford this thing when it was released--maybe $8.00 or something back when. I'm glad I was cautious and held off on purchasing for 40 years...The new one has great replacements for everything I didn't like about the original kit. Most of the parts in this kit are VERY well detailed, and general look and proportion seem good. Things like brake drums and such are clearly early Ford parts and not just round lumps. Instruction book begins with an essay by Pat Ganahl. Go get one!
