Hey guys im Chris, Ive been reading the board for a while. I heard about it from the HorseMag web site. I lurk there and also at metalmeet.com

Im 18 years old, 1st year apprentice in the electrical trade, attend votech at night, where besided my electrical classes I take welding, and plan to take auto body. Im also a Volunteer firemen in my town.

I have a huge intrest in metalworking (welding, sheetmetal fab work, machining)

Love HOMEMADE choppers, bobbers, and hot rods. I respect the talent of any craftsmen and master of their trade, be it hobbiest or pro.

Im really into bikes and cars, and would love to get a project going, but money is tight, time is hard to find.

Noone I know is into the older stuff like I am, most of the kids I know would rather slap on fiberglass and mufflers onto imports.

I try to make it to some local car shows and cruse nights, so if anyone knows of any good shows comming up make sure you post a message so I can swing by the show.

Also if anyone in NJ, espically North Jers needs a hand with a project id be happy to stop by and lend a hand.

Welcome to the board, now find an old rusty body for little or nothing and do some of that metal work you like to do...you`ll have a hot rod before you know it!

All you guy`s that jump everyone for not doing intro`s need to take the time to reply to these newbe`s and let them know they are welcome when they do a proper intro!

Sorry, just had to say that!

Add your location to your profile. There are a lot of guys up in north Jersey. Come down to Philly (Wilmington, DE now, actually) for the Hot Rod Hoedown on September 11th, 2004.

I go to Morris County votech. But I think ill have plenty of time up in Sussex b/c thats where I will probally wind up for fire school soon. And since you know probally live in Sussex youll know of the town I live in, Roxbury, about 15 mins away from rt 15.

THe unhappy face was because I didnt even know what I was clicking on.

As far as electrical goes I do wiring on residential and commerical, actully mainly very high end residential for now. But im starting to learn alot more about motor controls so because of that I was able to help wire my friends chopper project and will be heling my other friend with his complete restoration of his 71 Camaro.
