Like everyone else, I had a great time. Thanks to all who made it happen, made sure we got fed and to those who gave me rides so I didn't have to disgrace myself in public driving a new 4 door whatzit.

Yeah, I took a heap of pictures. I'll post them to my site when I get a few minutes.

I took a few moving pictures that are pretty cool to view repeatedly on the computer. They're on my hard drive as .MOV files. I tried in vain to load them to my web site last night so I could share them with you. I guess my web server doesn't lile them or something. They're too big to load here.

Anybody have any ideas? Or, want to volunteer to host them on a web site?

I got Ryan and the blue 39 coupe doing burnouts, and then both of them racing, WZJUNK whipping Evilfordcoupe, 413 doing a burnout, and a few others.

Bong-bung-bong-bung-bong-bung... and the clouds cleared as the heavens opened up... the angels sang and rejoiced that DRD57 made it to yet ANOTHER show so we can get the true feeling of what it was like to be there!

And Don said "let there be pictures!"

And all the HAMB's people said "Heeeeeeeey-Man!!"

Sam.

SO I am standing there talking to Monsterflake? I forget for sure but I keep looking at this dude in a Safari hat that I AM SURE I should know! WTF? when he says DRD or something like that I think my jaw hit the floor! http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif

Had no inkling that you would make it there Don?! But it was great to finally meet you in person.

BTW, and for the RECORD, I always thought Don had his camera glued to his face with all the cool event shots he provides us. In reality, it was on his ass? I dont understand, he must be an alien sent here to watch us unruly hotrodders or something? hahahaha

Jim, can you guess which one is Don? http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Don it was awesome to see you once again. Hell, if I didn't know better I'd think we both lived in the same state as often as we've been running into each other. Thanks for sharing your photos.

Don,
Digging all the pics as usual. It was great to meet the man behind the camera finally. Have enjoyed your work forever. Thanks for the great shots of the Caddy out in front of Starbird's place. Hoping you make it to Austin in the spring. Steve

Wonderful. Except for some anachronisms like scallops and a few later model cars, this looks like coverage of a 1954 event. Thank you!

The Roundup is definitely in the plans for next year.

If I could get you to cruise by my shop in your Caddy once or twice a week it might keep me inspired to get mine done by then http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif
