Hello. My name is Bob Toft from Joplin, MO. My car was the 1947 yellow Plymouth convertible sitting under the canopy at the Ramada Inn Saturday night. I play in the band there two nights a week (bass guitar & harmonica). I met some of the guys in town for the drags, including "shifts", a fellow from Denver, and a fellow from Texas. Enjoyed looking at and taking some pix of the cars. Wish I could have gotten to the drags, but had too many things to do, as I only learned of the event on Sat afternoon. Will plan ahead for next year....maybe even try to run the slow old Plym. I noticed that a couple other guys from Joplin and Webb City participate in this board, although I'm not acquainted with them (yet). Any advice for a newbie will be appreciated. Bob

Hope to get to meet you at one of the local events.
