Hello All,
My name is Wayne and I live just outside Albany, NY. I’m 37 and addicted to old cars....and motorcycles.
I’ve been lurking around the site for a few years now and finally decided to join the H.A.M.B and tap into the wealth of knowledge.
My current project is a 54 chevy Del Ray with 49k original miles, 235 and powerglide. It was a running car that drove fine except for a major leak form the rear main seal.
I started collecting parts and dismantling it last fall. The Rear Main seal was a bitch without pulling the motor. It’s been a challenge as I’m usually used to wrenching on the small block chevy.
I’ve since hit a few snags and look forward to speaking with some of the experts about hopping up a Stovebolt.
Special thanks to Ryan for creating a site where like minded people can share their stories, passion, and vast knowledge.
Cheers,
Wayne
