I picked up this frame I'd seen at the last few swaps localy,

it's straight and solid, I think at a buck and a half it's a fair swap price.

around here anyway.

I got the torch and grinder out, removed a few brackets and crossmember,

pulled some junk out of the garage

I picked up five original '56 Olds flipper hubcaps in nice condition for $120. Will put them on the wife's 49 Merc. I'm happy!! Met some good people, had a good time. Danny, nice score on the 'A' decklid, good for you!! Sure it rained, were in Washington.....OLDBEET

So you're the one that got that. Looked to be in pretty good shape, glad he came down on the price for ya.

All I got was a set of early flathead rods, a Uni-Syn and sore feet.

looks good, we scored lots of cool little shit, and some kind of weird motor, i love sbc's but this looked cool and was only $275- anybody ever heard of ardun, i went to get plugs for it at pep boys but it wasn't listed. still looks cool they, might make a planter out of it
