Hi, there. My name is Duane Jones, and I am the proprietor of the Kiwi Konnection, in Bakersfield CA. We build traditional 1932 Ford and 1933/34 Ford chassis.

My personal projects include a steel 1934 Ford roadster and a supercharged 1959 Coupe deVille.

I have lurked here for a long time, and figured it was time to do my part and support.

I will be an Alliance member, as well, so feel free to inquire about our parts and services.

What a nice, professional sounding introduction.......which barmaid/homeless panhandler/tourist did you con into writing it? Squeak told me you only learnt to read a tape measure last year.......( spose this buggers up my customary free beers at the Salt this year....) Cheers Duane.......House.

Relative to the Caddy...

The chassis is done...bagged, front disc brakes, all new bushings, painted...and on wheels...

The engine and transmission are in...blown 509ci with and Enderle-style hat and EFI...Turbo 400...fenderwell headers...

The floor of the body is painted, top and bottom, and the firewall/jambs are painted final color (beautiful metalflake red)...

...and Duane held a "Lets get 8 guys over here and lift the body onto the frame" party last Sunday, which we managed to pull off without scratching, breaking, or bending anything.
