The post about the rust belt got me thinkin;
There's something about old wrecking yards...you know, it's freaky! Old upholstery, that smell...
So I'm wondering where the boneyards are on the north side of the border, Vancouver, Langley, the Island, interior. I've got too many projects, not really looking for anything, just got the hankerin to wander the graveyard. Collections of cars forgotten in the bush, stories you heard, memories from years ago. PM me if ya don't want to spill the beans in the internet http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/cool.gif

I spent about a year up there and found no major pockets but there are smatterings all over. Mac's in between Pt. Townsend and Pt.Hadlock has a bit of 60s and 70s stuff. If you are on the rock near Freeland check out the recycling center. They keep anything that looks cool and you can browse and buy stuff. The last time I was there they had a 49 chev p/u with a 283, a 54 olds 2 door and about 10 other various cool cars. In side the building they have stuff for sale too. I scored a real cool white steering wheel for $5 the last time I was there. They also have an old dump truck bed full of hubcaps and any you find are $5. I always find a few that I can't live without.
There are a bunch of old cars that people just drive still, and the boat hippys seem to come up with some cool old panel trucks and vintage stuff. If your in Pt. Townsend, go cruise Boat Haven and you will see a few, but don't be surprised if someone id living in them.
