AUTRONIC Eye ???

Hey there, Quick question. Will a bad autronic eye be my cause of non-functional headlights? When I pull the switch to the second position the front park lights go out and there's still no headlights. ANd if it could be the autronic eye, can I just rewire it's signal through a floor switch dimmer and just leave the broke dummy eye on the dash? Any experience with this or suggestions here??? Thanx...

hey rooster,
i dont know if thats your problem,but i would unplug all the autrionic eye if thats a question.it also hooks up at the switch,and the floor switch.you should just be able to unplug it,and i dont think it should affect the operation of the lights.
