My aunt just died last week from the big C, as did my grandma.

It's OT, but tell everyone you know to get checked. It really may save their life.

Damn..bad link. I should have checked it. It was s'posed to take you to a place to "sign" a post-it note that will be part of a huge pink ribbon that will hang (I think)in Times Square. www.3m.com/us/office/postit/research/largest_pink_ribbon.jhtml (http://www.3m.com/us/office/postit/research/largest_pink_ribbon.jhtml)

I have been lucky, my family has not been touched by it, but my wife's family has, her father at 61, aunts, uncles, cousins....I've seen what it can do. I don't say anything, but I'm concerned for her. They say it's not heretitery(sp) but I don't believe it. I have been involved with the Relay For Life the past few years. I know it's not much but I feel like I'm at least doing something.
If you've never been involved with the Relay, look into it. It can be a lot of fun and is for a very worth while cause.
