That happened to me the other day. I've been out of work a while and the days began to meld together. It was like being thrown into deep water at night. Very disorienting.

Cool sketches Jigger! My brother bought a 1964 Australian army issue land rover (R hand drive) when he was visiting friends down under. He had it shipped to him this past winter. He started on the rebuild, but got called back to Iraq. I can't wait to see it running again.

Been awhile since I posted on the show, but smeared a little paint on a friends pit cruiser bike.
Not sure if pinewood derby cars are art but this is my entry for an up coming local show. Going for a lakes roadster look, paint is wet in this pic. I will post finished picture next week.

Great looking start to a show here fellas!
I was contracted for a product packaging design by Ms. Metal (Amy) She produces metal-flake shift knobs in various colors and wanted to produce a single cool yet functional label for a 1 pint can to place these in. It had to be simple in color restrictions to keep the cost down, but simple doesn't mean plain or boring right?
http://i40.photobucket.com/albums/e249/keven_carter/ms-metal/ms-metal-can.jpg
Here it is flattened out:
http://i40.photobucket.com/albums/e249/keven_carter/ms-metal/ms-metal-can2.jpg
Originally it was going to be more distressed and in full color so I played with more textures in the actual word "metal-flake". The end product didn't have it in there, but I still wanted to show it off since I did the work:

Will be for sale at the show. I'm also including one of the two van pieces I did for the California Screamin show last weekend.

That bike is pretty amazing.
I did some more work on the painting. This will all be hidden by successive layers this time next week.

A piece for an upcoming show still in progress.Haven't been around much lately;work has been pretty heavy and I'm back into collecting knives. And just got tapped for jury duty in Federal court on Monday.
Awesome work Ray. I've still got those Drag Cartoon mags if you want them. I'll bring them with me to Billetproof.
