I do not know how to express the excitement and pleasure we experienced with this event!
Unbelievable!
I was in Heaven!
Absolutely without equal, the cars and people.
We were sorry to see it end.
Words fail me, and I do want to express our appreciation for the folks who stopped by, shared their cars and food with us.
The KOOLEST folks on the planet!!!!!!
I would have loved it more if all the HAMBer's could have been here!
Our sons and their ladys came by and found out what HAMBers were like.
My second grand son think's Ryan is cool.
Some of the neighbors came over, and walked around looking at the hotrods.
They liked it
Would I do this again?
IN A HEARTBEAT!

There are rumors floating around that there is going to be a HaMB Drags 05.

Time to get the calendar marked and get your ride counted among these and the others that were here for 04

Actually, we have decided, Zeke, JimC, I and others to not cook at the track. let Carl and his concessions make the money, they had killer prices and good food. The plan is to get some good food done at Jims house Friday night. Jim and his wife worked too hard to enjoy it fully, the last two years, we worked to hard at the track to enjoy it. So, the middle ground is food at Jims, he threw down a par-tay that will be hard to top! The idea is to take the heat off Jim, have some fun and do it up bigger!

Jim, I think you will need to designate your side of that side street and park em diagonal for room next year!? Your neighbors were cool, even the poor henpecked wanna be Harley guy http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif

Parking diagonal mmight not be a bad idea, f I can get it pulled off.
There is a park one block or so north of me, and one block south a supermarket we could use for over flow.

I think the neighbors got a kick out of it. I will work on the parking closer to summer.
I am still amazed at the cars that were here.

Yeah Jim, sitting in your garage Thursday night was just a precursor to what we would see! One ofe the coolest two day I have had, and we didnt even hit the drags at that point!!!!!!!!!!

Jim, using the RRT BBQ trailer for your gig would probley be the way to go and the RRT gang is use to cooking for tons of folks at one time.

As far as parking, works out real well on my street when I have my annual pig roast. We have the street going one way and back the cars into the curb. As long as your neighbors agree, it'll go off without a hitch.

Yeah Denise, I will call Frank if we need the trailor. Wasnt really planning on it however.

You won't have to call him, the trailer will be there anyway. He'll be on his way home from B'ville again. B'ville is turning out to be an annual thing for Enjenjo now that he's retired. L'ville, B'ville, HAMB Drags, one right after another. It must be nice to be old and not have to work http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/grin.gif xoxox

I'm not talking that mustard laden crap. And you put the slaw on the side, well unless it's a sandwich, then you can put it on. Of course anyone that wants to bring Memphis or Texas I'll share.... but not the stuff with mustard, no way... http://www.jalopyjournal.com/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif
